Amendment 40 answers the urgent need for better checks and balances in Colorado's courts. All too often, judges get away with creating law, rather than protecting and upholding our Constitution. Now Colorado voters will have an opportunity to rein in activist judges and take back our courts. If Amendment 40 passes, Colorado Supreme Court and Appeals Court judges would be limited to 10 years of service. Incumbent judges who have already served the limit would be out after the 2008 election.

How Can You Help?

Now that Amendment 40 is on the ballot, we need an army of concerned citizens to spread the message of limiting the judges - and counteract the fear and lies already circulating from defenders of the unaccountable status quo. Here's what you can do:

Become a Neighborhood Volunteer
Give a few hours a week in September and October, helping us reach likeminded citizens for factory in November. It's easy and fun. Let us tell you how.

Enlist Your Organization as a Yes on 40 Partner
Prosperity, opportunity, and freedom all suffer when courts are out of control. Your business or civic or nonprofit group is legally permitted to endorse Amendment 40. Help us build a broad statewide coalition. Give us the group name and let's get busy.
